Welcome to the Alamosa Public Library's site for the Shared Memories Project!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Mellon Foundation, Alamosa Public Library is partnering with the Pueblo City-County Library District to preserve and share our region's unique history. The Shared Memories Project provides libraries with the equipment and resources they need to digitize local historical collections—from photos and documents to oral histories.

Through this project, community members are empowered to become the historians, bringing their personal and family archives to life online. This site serves as a place to browse the digitized collections contributed to the project.
